Vol. 01 · 2026Pakem · noun. The canonical rules. The standard with authority.

Standardsthat travel. With the people who keep them — every shift, every store, every standard.

Pakem is a mobile-first operations platform for cafés, restaurants, and chains — SOPs, training, attendance, briefings, and a portable record of every shift worked.

A café opens at six. The opening checklist was printed on Tuesday and is gone by Thursday. The closing one was never finished — the manager finds the espresso machine still warm at eight the next morning. Training happened on day one, three months ago. Briefings arrive in a WhatsApp group nobody reads at five AM. Attendance lives in a notebook, and complaints die in the host's head.

You cannot fix what you cannot see, and most operators are flying blind on whether their own standard is being kept.

One application.
Five disciplines a kitchen already runs on.

Pakem replaces five separate paper, WhatsApp, and notebook habits with one ordered surface on every staff phone — verified at every step, visible at every level, offline-first by design.

Every standard, lived not laminated.

Every standard — opening the bar, plating the signature dish, counting the cash, deep-cleaning the grinder — becomes a step-by-step workflow on staff phones. Steps can require a photograph, a temperature reading, a signature, or a short quiz before they advance. The owner sees, in real time, what was done, by whom, and with what proof.

II.Attendance & Shifts

Attendance that survives the payroll dispute.

Clock-in with a selfie and a GPS fix. Bluetooth temperature probes log the cake fridge while the shift runs. Late arrivals, early departures, and missed shifts are visible the moment they happen — not on the fifteenth of the month when the argument starts. Payroll becomes arithmetic, not memory.

Training that refreshes itself.

Role-based courses — video, document, quiz — assigned the day a staff member is hired. Food safety, allergens, and espresso certifications can be made a prerequisite to clocking in: no certification, no opening shift. Refreshers fire every three or six months so the standard does not quietly drift while the kitchen is busy.

IV.Briefings

Briefings the floor actually watches.

The daily briefing pushes to every phone at the start of the shift. For high-stakes messages — a new menu, a recalled supplier, a revised service standard — on-device face detection confirms the staff member is actually looking, then asks one short question to verify they listened. Nothing leaves the phone. Privacy by design.

phone — portable profile

A profile that travels with the person.

Every staff member who works on Pakem builds an opt-in, employee-owned record of their operational track-record — tenure, on-time percentage, certifications, manager ratings. When they apply at the next café, the new employer sees verified numbers instead of a self-reported CV. Free for the employee, always.

A track-record
that travels.

Indonesian FnB workers have no LinkedIn — no neutral place where the hours they actually showed up, the standards they actually kept, and the certifications they actually earned can be seen by the next employer.

Pakem is building that layer. Every shift worked, every checklist completed, every training passed, every rating received — all of it accrues to a profile the worker owns and chooses what to share. Hiring a new lead barista stops being a thirty-minute interview and starts being a thirty-second look at five numbers that are verifiable.

For workers, it is leverage in the next conversation about pay. For employers, it is the end of hiring on hope. For the industry, it is the first honest measure of frontline excellence in Indonesia.

¶ The platform that signs up the most employers becomes the de facto operational reputation network for Indonesian FnB. We intend to be that platform.

Pakem exists because the people who actually keep a restaurant running deserve a tool that respects how the work is done — quietly, every morning, on a phone, in eight minutes — and a record that follows them when they move on.
